MANILA: Passengers will be able to fly directly to Chiang Mai from Manila via Cebu Pacific by Oct 29 this year.

Xander Lao, president and chief commercial officer of the Gokongwei-led airline, said on Thursday (Aug 1) in Makati the only direct flight from the country to the northern Thai City will be offered thrice weekly.

Lao said they were opening this route given the positive outlook on inbound tourism to Thailand.

“This new route will provide our passengers the opportunity to explore Thailand beyond its urban attractions,” he added. - Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN
