The Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) had launched a three-day workshop recently to address the digital skills gap and empower the youth to engage in the digital economy.

The workshop, themed "Empowering Youth for the Digital Era," included an introduction to low-code and no-code technologies and platforms, building simple web applications, natural language processing, best practices, security considerations, and group projects, according to a report by local media Borneo Bulletin.

The workshop was held in partnership with and sponsored by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. UTB Vice-Chancellor Hajah Zohrah emphasized the role of the workshop in nurturing digital talent and supporting the technological vision of the South-East Asian country. - Xinhua
