Viral South Korean Olympic shooter Kim Ye-ji suffers sudden convulsions at press conference

SEOUL: South Korean Olympic silver medallist, Kim Ye-ji was reported to have collapsed in convulsions during a press conference on Friday (Aug 9) while being interviewed.

According to South Korean news media Chosun Daily, Kim’s interview took place at the Jeonbuk shooting range in Imsil County, North Jeolla province on Saturday at 11.01am local time (10.01am Malaysian time) when she suddenly collapsed shocking everyone present.

With her was Kwak Min-so, head coach of the South Korean shooting team who expressed to media that Kim had no prior medical conditions or chronic illnesses, and no similar experiences has ever occurred before this.

Chosun Daily also reported that it was a high possibility that Kim was suffering from intense fatigue after competing at the Paris Games.
