Brunei’s vast potential highlighted at forum

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Sultanate expanded its engagement with Borneo’s dynamic economic landscape during the Borneo Economic Forum on Tuesday (Aug 13) in Banjarmasin, Indonesia.

The forum underscored the region’s vast potential for economic growth and connectivity, highlighting investment opportunities in key sectors, such as the green economy, tourism and renewable energy.

Discussions during the forum also focused on enhancing Borneo’s logistics and digital infrastructure, emphasising the critical role of advanced technologies in driving regional integration within the Asean Economic Community.

Dynamik Technologies Chief Executive Officer Haslina Taib, who is also the co-chair of the Borneo Economic Community (BEC), highlighted Brunei’s unwavering commitment to inclusive economic development.

In alignment with these goals, Haslina introduced two key BEC initiative – Karyawan Digital Borneo (Karyadi) and Trade and Economics Unified Analytics (Tenun) by Dynamik Technologies. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
