Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah holds audience with new Brunei, foreign envoys

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, on Saturday (Aug 17) presented Letters of Credence to Brunei Darussalam’s newly-appointed envoys and received Letters of Credence from newly-appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam.

His Majesty first presented Letters of Credence to newly-appointed Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the United Arab Emirates Ahmad Jumat and High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Singapore Noor Qamar Sulaiman.

His Majesty then received Letters of Credence from Iranian Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Taghi Rajabi; British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Alexandra McKenzie; and French Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Eve Lubin.

After the ceremonies, Sultan Hassanal received in audience Brunei Darussalam’s newly-appointed envoys.

His Majesty also received in separate audiences the newly-appointed Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
