Three killed, eight injured in drop bomb attack in Myanmar's Kantablu Township

YANGON: The State Planning and Administration Council, in a press release, announced that three local residents were killed and eight others were injured due to a drop bomb attack in Aung Thayar Village, Kantablu Township, Sagaing Region on Friday (Oct 4).

It said that around 1.30pm, the People's Defence Forces attacked Aung Thayar Village from a height of about 1,200 meters southeast of Aung Thayar Village and dropped bombs with a drone, killing two men living and working in the village.

One woman also died, while five men and three other women were injured.

It is said that the injured are being treated at the village clinic. - Eleven Media/ANN
