Brunei releases commemorative stamps


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Department of Postal Services under the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC) released a stamp collection to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Universal Postal Union, available at post offices nationwide.

The collection features two stamp designs, each with a denomination of 150 cents. In addition, a special edition of first day cover has been issued to complement the release.

The full collection includes a full sheet uncut containing 24 stamps, individual stamp sets, and first day covers with and without stamps.

Stamp collectors can purchase the commemorative stamps and first day covers at post offices from today, 8am to 3pm. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
