Seven starlets of Sabah are coming together to give one memorable show for 'A night with Sumandak Stars' at Zepp KL on Nov 30

THE flowers of Sabah are joining up and they are coming together as a band of sisters. And to that, the divas and starlets of Sabah promises an enchanting musical night that Malaysian fans will never forget come Nov 30.

Current top singing star Bella Astillah leads the way with top divas Stacy Anam and Marsha Milan also in Sabah's best group of seven while well-known songstress Adira Suhaimi, Nikky Palikat complete the set together with rising stars Wani Kayrie and Didi Astillah.

The seven starlets of Sabah will come together on a magical night at the Zepp KL arena on Nov 30. The organisers are also hoping besides the local fans, enthusiasts from Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia make their way for the show.

On a night that our singers have promised to give an exciting show backed by the best musicians and pyrotechnics, fans are welcomed to watch them perform at the show dubbed as ‘A Night With Sumandak Stars - Ceritera Hatiku’.

For the record, the word Sumandak in Sabah means a local girl who has gone out in the world and done well in her field. Thus the theme for the night also pays homage to singing stars of Sabah who are among the most popular in the local scene now.

At a press conference at the Tamu Hotel in KL on Tuesday (Oct 15) to announce the link up between the top singers of Sabah, the event organisers of the country have promised it will be an unforgettable event for all music lovers.

Brought to fans by top local event producer Orange International, CEO Dato’ Mohd Fadzli Idrus promised music fans that it will be one-of-a-kind-event that will be etched in the minds of Malaysian fans forever.

"I'm indeed happy and grateful that we will have seven classy, excellent and brilliant singers from Sabah. I believe introducing a concept that is not seen before but what is important is that we are lining up a show that will be remembered by all music fans," said Mohd Fadzli.

"Despite very little publicity on the event and even before we start the marketing - the event has already sold 30% of the tickets. We are now going all out to push the remaining 70% of the tickets.

"If all goes well, we expect to have around 1,700-1800 fans at the venue. That would see a capacity turnout for the girls who I feel are among the best in the local show business scene.

"And what we have lined up for the fans, I believe it will be a show that is well worth the time and effort"

Orange International was also the organisers that brought music fans the successful Radja & Ella, Wali Band X Setia, Drama Band concerts seen at recent times in the country.

Four of the music sensations were present at the press conference with Bella leading the way for the group. Bella, who was recently awarded the ‘Celebrity Of The Year’ title at the TikTok Awards Malaysia 2024, is also expected to be the headliner for the show.

"The show is indeed a blessing for me. The fact the girls of Sabah are leading this show is just an amazing feeling. And to share the stage with six of the best from Land beneath the Wind is indeed a blessing," said an excited Bella.

"With my sister (Didi Astillah) and my close friend (Adira Suhaimi) also in the line-up, I just feel so honoured. And to share the stage with legends like Stacy and Marsha, this is going to be one amazing night.

"I also hope that as we gear up for the event, we will have all seven of us singing together for one number. That will, indeed, be an unforgettable experience for all of us."

Meanwhile, Adira said that she has not been in a concert like this ever before.

"This is the first time I'm going to share the stage in a concert together with the other six girls. I just want to have real good fun and hope that all the singers in the show will give fans a night they will remember forever," said Adira.

"I think the idea of all seven of us singing for one number is indeed a fantastic suggestion."

Like her sister, Didi is a fast rising singing and acting personality in the country and she said that she is overjoyed to be part of the show.

"This concept is really amazing. To see all seven of us together for a show at the same, is an honour and something I will cherish forever. It is for sure one of the limelight of my career," said Didi.

As for Wani Kayrie, said to be among the new stars of the local music scene and Sabah's rising starlet, at the age of 24, she is the youngest in the group of seven.

"I'm so proud and honoured to be given this oppurtunity to sing with all my older sisters on the business. I myself am a big fans of all the other six in the show. For me, Marsha and Stacy had always been the stars of Sabah. And getting a chance to stage a show with them, It's a big WOW," said Wani.

"My one and only hope now is that the fans come and supports us in full flight and we give them a show that will be talked about by fans for a long time."
