New recruits arrive for militia training course No. 6 at training institution in Myanmar

YANGON: Those who will attend and serve in the militia training course No. 6 have started arriving at the training institute on Friday (Oct 18).

It is reported that the trainees who attend the training were welcomed by the relevant officials.

On Friday, those who would attend the Militia Training Course No. 6 arrived at the No. (11) Tatmadaw Advanced Training School under the Triangle Regional Military Headquarters, officials of the training school said.

Also, those who attended the Militia Training No. (6/2024) in the Irrawaddy Region on Oct 16 at the Southwest Regional Military Headquarters were met by Regional Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win.

It is reported that the regional commander, General Wai Lin, and other officials went to meet and talk, and coordinate the delivery of the necessary supplies.

Currently, Militia Service Training No. 5 has already been opened, and Militia Service Training No. 1 has graduated on June 28, and the trainees are already serving in the Tatmadaw.

The Militia Service No. 1 courses were opened on April 8, 2024 at training centers in various military headquarters.

After that, the Militia Service Course No. 2 (2) was held on May 14 and Militia Service Training No. (3) on June 25 and Militia training course number (4) on August 5 and Militia Course No. 5 was opened on September 9.

In November 2010, the Civil Service Law was enacted as Law No. (27/2010) and on Feb 10, 2024, the law came into force.

According to the National Military Service Law, 5,000 trainees will be recruited in each batch. - Eleven Media/ANN
