CALL Raisa a diva, a superstar and a fantastic singer. That she proved her fans right as the ever likeable Indonesian superstar, who promised a 'Teristimewa' concert, and she superbly delivered in an unforgettable night in her third KL show in three years.
Performing at the the Mega Star Arena Kuala Lumpur on Sunday (Nov 3) the venue just came to alive with so much energy with more than 3,000 fans cheering her all the way in the highly anticipated concert.
For a working mother, the 34-year-old Raisa, was full of enthusiasm and hardly slowed down throughout the two-and-a-half hour performance that completely enchanted her fans.
Known for her captivating voice, the Indonesian superstar was truly enchanting in her third concert here in three years with an incredible and unforgettable performance.
Raisa opened the show with her hit single “Teristimewa", setting the tone for a night filled with emotion and rhythm.
She followed up with “Pergilah” and “Jatuh Hati,” showcasing her signature blend of top hit songs, infectious melodies and soulful ballads.
Throughout the concert, Raisa engaged with her audience, playfully teasing them about their relationship statuses before launching into the crowd favorite “Mantan Terindah” (The Best Ex).
“In my case, I think I am the ‘Mantan Terindah,’” she quipped, prompting a chorus of laughter and applause from the audience.
The singer also invited fans to request songs, igniting cheers as they shouted out their favourites.
As the night went on Raisa said: “Sesungguhnya kalian adalah ‘teristimewa’ dalam hidup saya dan terima kasih kerana hadir menyokong saya pada malam ini. Konsert ini adalah satu pengalaman yang sangat berharga untuk saya, kerana saya sendiri terlibat secara langsung dalam setiap aspek persiapannya.")
“Truly, all of you are very special in my life. Thank you for coming to support me tonight.
“Being involved in every aspect of this concert has made this a truly valuable experience for me,” she said.
"I'm truly blessed with the kind of support I have received from fans. Thank you all and I love you all."
And as the night progressed, the energy soared when Raisa performed her upbeat anthem “Could It Be Love?” sending fans off their seats and onto their feet to dance.
The concert also featured special guests Ernie Zakri and Hael Husaini, who joined Raisa for duets of “Anganku Anganmu” and “Percayalah,” respectively.
"I am incredibly grateful to Ernie Zakri and Hael Husaini for joining me in this special concert. I admire them both so much," Raisa said.
And she has bigger plans in the coming years too.
At her a recent interview with an online portal, Raisa said she was always grateful for her fans' unwavering support and now has plans for a future show in Japan.
For the record, Raisa, who made history as the first Indonesian artist to hold a solo concert at Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. She is now looking forward to expanding her reach and added that she also has many fans in Japan.
Despite her busy career, Raisa is also embracing her role as a mother, finding that it brings added depth to her life.
"As a working mother, having a strong support system is essential. Technology helps me stay connected with my family, making balancing work and family easier," she told the online portal..
Raisa reflected on the transformative experience of motherhood.
"Now, love feels broader and more profound. Seeing the world from a mother's perspective makes even small things seem valuable," she said.
With over 20 songs performed at Sunday's concert, including her latest release “Si Paling Mahir” and the beloved “Kali Kedua,” Raisa certainly delivered a night to remember.
Organised by Kharisma Music, the concert drew fans from across the region, with attendees traveling from Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei to witness the super show on a magical night.
