Superstar singer Arijit Singh electrifies all in Malaysia's largest Bollywood concert in Bukit Jalil


FOR many fans, Arijit Singh is simple the current 'Golden Voice' of Bollywood. On Saturday, he showed fans just why he is such a superstar in the Hindi movie-dom with an incredible performance that lasted for almost four hours at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil.

Castle Group had presented “Arijit Singh Live in Malaysia,” an event that made history as Malaysia’s largest Bollywood concert, organised by the nation’s leading events company Hitman Solutions in collaboration with Australia-based Cinestar Events, was simply excellent and captivated nearly 10,000 fans at the venue.

Supported by some first class musicians and also back-up singers; with a three hour and 50 minutes concert, the beloved Bollywood icon Arijit Singh performed a powerful and emotional show, offering fans a unique authentic Bollywood experience with exciting elements brought over from India for his Malaysian fans.

With a vocal delivery that touched the hearts of concertgoers, Arijit performed nearly 50 of his iconic songs, including “Janam Janam” from Dilwale, “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”, “Tum Hi Ho” from Aashiqui 2, “Bekhayali” from Kabir Singh, “Kesariya” from Brahmastra, “Chaleya” from Jawan, and many more.

This unforgettable evening brought together fans not only from Malaysia and across Asia but also from around the world. Arijit’s immense global appeal continues to grow, including his recognition as the most-followed male artist on Spotify, surpassing international stars like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.

Arijit’s return to Malaysia has been eagerly anticipated by Bollywood fans, as his last performance in the country was nearly a decade ago in 2014 at the Dewan Wawasan Convention & Exhibition Centre.
