BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The importance of compassion and responsibility towards stray animals was emphasised at the Stray Pets Awareness Talk hosted by Laksamana College of Business (LCB) in partnership with PawsUp on Monday (Nov 18).

Organised by LCB’s BTEC International Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality students, the talk, at the college’s auditorium, featured a keynote address by General Manager of PawsUp Mohammad Amnan Mohammad Azman.

He captivated the audience with insights into the plight of stray animals and discussed actionable steps that individuals can take to improve their welfare, such as volunteering, fostering and donating.

Participants were introduced to PawsUp, an initiative dedicated to rescuing and re-homing stray animals.

Through this platform, they learned how they could contribute to building a humane and compassionate society. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
