LOCAL singing sensations Nadeera Zaini dan Hael Husaini, both from top music label Rocketfuel Entertainmemt, are flying the Malaysian flag high these days.
First they had been in excellent form and already making heads turn with their amazing performances and songs at the Anugerah Juara Lagu 39 competition and both are among the early favourites to bag top honours.
But to make it even more sweeter, both Nadeera and Hael are both nominated for international prestigious awards at the 29th Asian Television Awards which will take place this weekend.
Hael selected in the highly prestigious award in the 'Most Popular Male Solo Performer' while Nadeera has been nominated for the 'Most Popular Solo Female Performer' award.
On top of that, both have also been invited by the organisers to perform on stage in the highly prestigious event and the singers have promised that they will do all they can to ensure they bring great respect and honour to the country with their performances at ATA29.
The invitation to the top local singers is indeed a big achievement to them as the even will also showcase top singers from Asia including those poerformers from Singapura, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong and also Sri Lanka.
Among the top names already confirmed in performing at the event are superstars like Luna Maya, Raffi Ahmad, Lesti Kejora, Putri Ariani, Jirayut, Lady Rara and many, many more.
Local fans are also invited to see the Malaysians perform in Rocketful Entertainment's digital platform.
Both Hael and Nadeera in a recent special interview said they were delighted and at the same time humbled by their nomination in ATA29 and entry to the AJL final stages.
"I thank all the organisers and selectors for this selection to AJL 39 and the ATA29. It has been a real journey this year. I hope I get a chance to get honours. That indeed completes the set for this year.
"But frankly, I feel that my selection for this stages of the events is also a great honour to me. At times, it feels I have already won something. It is an achievement I will not forget that easy.
"I also like to thank the jury for selecting my song 'Diam', The song itself is a big story by itself for me and to let it come this far is indeed a special time for me.
"But for now, I'm not setting any targets in both the awards show. I just want to give my very best and hope that it impresses the fans and judges."
As for Nadeera, after almost a decade of trying to get into AJL., she has finally done it and she is just excited to be part of the shows in both KL and Jakarta.
"This is just amazing. I was already happy of making the AJL semifinals. But now I'm in the final and also been invited to ATA29. I'm still flying. literally," said a very happy Nadeera during the interview.
Her top song ‘Bukan Milik Kita’ incidentally was also written by Hael.
"To come this far itself is a big achievement for me. I'm just hoping to make good of the opportunity that I have been given. And I promise to give my best and hope to win everyone's heart in both competitions," said Nadeera.
Both singers also promised that they will not let the country at ATA29.
"It will definitelty be an amazing performances from both of us," said Hael and Nadeera.
"That is a promise and we will ensure the 'Malaysia Boleh' spirit will truly be alive at ATA29."
