Hael Husaini and Nadeera Zaini win fans hearts at 29th Asian TV awards show in Jakarta


MALAYSIAN top singers Hael Husaini and Nadeera Zaini made heads turns and got the fans rocking during the 29th Asian Television Awards show which was staged in Jakarta on Nov 29 and 30.

Both the singers are under the Rocketfuel Entertainment banner and they made the country with excellent performances during the first night on Saturday and made the country proud when they were even invited for a second performance showing on Sunday for the event.

The organisers of the show also had announced that both the singers were among the very best in Asia when they were selected to perform for a second time at the Jakarta awards show.

After stirring performances during the first night where Hael and Nadeera won such admiration from fans, the organisers had then requested Rocketfuel Entertainment for the extra performances from the two two singer who once again did not disappoint the fans on Sunday.

Rocketfuel Entertainment ere happy that two two singers had doine well on Saturday and they also gave the go ahead for the second night and even added two new songs 'Kelentang Kelentong' and 'Bukan Cinta Biasa' to the duo's act.

During the first night, Hael entertained the thousands of fans with his popular beats 'Jampi' and then he belted out 'Diam' and 'Kelentang Kelentong' for his second night performance. His charismatic performances won many hearts and the event which was live through Indosiar and the Vidio app, had almost 500,000 hits.

Nadeera Zaini was also not upstaged and belted out commanding performances with her hits 'Nirmala' dan 'Bukan Cinta Biasa' and her top song “Bukan Lagi Kita'. Incidentally, 'Bukan Lagi Cinta' is the also theme song for TV drama show 'Curang Tanpa Niat'.

"It was an unforgettable time for me. I'm humbled and extremely happy that I was given a chance to represent Malaysia in such an event. It was really a gift that I will always cherish when they asked bith me and Nadeera to sing again on the second day," said Hael.

"To be involved in such a prestigious event itself was a big accomplishment for me. To perform twice was really something I cannot just say it words. It is always the best thing for a performer when he is recognised for his efforts.

"I am also happy I made the country proud by being able to show off Malaysia's musical culture and our kind of tunes to the world."

Meanwhile, Nadeera was as ecstatic as Hael after her performances at the event.

"This is an experience that will be with me forever. I'm so thankful to be recognised and fans enjoyed our performances. This is definitely an honour that I shall remember in my career forever.

"To sing once itself is a big accomplished, to be invited is something I'm forever thankful and honoured too. It is also a great opportunity for me to do well as I was representing Malaysia," said Nadeera.

Among th other Asian celebrities that performed besides the Malaysian stars at the awards show were Luna Maya, Raffi Ahmad, Tony Gapa, Robby Purba and Louise Hesse together with other top popular etertainers such as Lesti Kejora, Wulan Guritno, Rina Nose, Putri Ariani dan ramai laagi.

The Asian Television Awards, founded in 1996, is an appreciation to recognise and reward programming and production excellence in the Asian television industry.

Held every December, it comprises 56 categories across news, documentaries and current affairs, kids and animation, entertainment, drama, technical, digital, as well as performances including acting and directing.

The Awards draw about 1,400 entries each year from a wide range of broadcasters, including free-to-air TV stations, pay-TV platforms, OTT platforms, as well as many independent production houses in Asia.
