MACAU, (China): Hundreds of people queued outside the Macau Post Office on Friday (Dec 20) morning, eager to bring home some newly released memorial stamps celebrating the Macau Special Administrative Region's silver jubilee.

To mark the 25th anniversary of the city's return to the motherland, the post office has issued a collection of themed stamps and philatelic merchandise.

The design of the stamps is centered on the lotus flower – an iconic emblem of Macau – and features various prominent landmarks and scenes that depict the city's progress. - China Daily/ANN
