Man held over fatal stabbing in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong

HONG KONG: Police in Hong Kong have arrested a man over his suspected connection with the murder of a 33-year-old man outside a public housing estate in Tuen Mun on Thursday (Jan 2).

With multiple stabbing wounds, the victim was found unconscious on the ground at Po Tin Estate.

He was pronounced dead after being taken to Tuen Mun Hospital.

On Friday night, police arrested the 56-year-old man in Ngau Tau Kok for his alleged link with the killing.

The Hong Kong Police Force said a 44-year-old woman was also arrested for allegedly misleading police officers during their investigation.

Both the arrestees are being detained for further enquiries, the force said, adding that an active investigation by the District Crime Squad of Tuen Mun District is underway. - China Daily/ANN
