K-POP star duo Super Junior-D&E promised a night of excitement and indeed they did not disappoint with an amazing outing at the Mega star arena in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday (Jan 4).
The Super Junior-D&E World Tour: Eclipse promised a night of non-stop music with captivating performance and thousands of fans at the venue were not disappointed.
Formed in 2011, Super Junior-D&E is a subunit of the popular Korean boy band Super Junior, featuring members Donghae and Eunhyuk. The world tour follows the success of their sixth mini album Inevitable, released earlier in September.
The concert was themed around the concept of the eclipse, drawing from the duo’s symbolic identities – the sun and the moon. And it was indeed a colourful night as it had fans in and out Malaysia singing along with the duo throughout the night.
"I'm thankful for the fans who made it here tonight," said Eunhyuk. "It's out 20th anniversary and we are indeed by the gesture of our fans throughout this world tour. Malaysia is always a special place and I thank all of of u coming to our concert."
Meanwhile, Donghae said the duo had been planning the concert since last year and it is indeed a pleasure to celebrate with fans in Malaysia
"This is a fantastic night for me and my buddy and also we our hope our fans continue to give us full support."
During the show, Eunhyuk also announced that he will be releasing a solo album this year and hopes that all the fans will enjoy the music and keep supporting the group's new ventures.
Besides the album, the duo also promised that the full Super Junior group will soon get together again for a full album and world tour concert series.
Super Junior-D&E is a powerful and influential sub-unit of the legendary K-pop group Super Junior, featuring the talents of Donghae and Eunhyuk.
Since their formation in 2011, the duo has carved a distinct path in the K-pop scene, blending their individual strengths to create a musical experience that resonates with fans worldwide.
The duo debuted on December 16, 2011, with their digital single "Oppa, Oppa"
Known for pushing creative boundaries, they continue to evolve while staying true to the essence of what makes them unique.
And judging by their performances on Saturday night, fans can expect the duo continue to strut on the stage and at the same come out with dazzling and innovative music in the future.
