BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Over 180 students, teachers, parents, and guardians from Belait Arabic School (SAB) participated in a Plogathon Programme, combining fitness and environmental care Saturday (Jan 11).

Headmistress Pengiran Masniah @ Nur Amalina Pengiran Hussin highlighted in a speech that the programme blends jogging with trash collection, aiming to instil healthy habits and environmental awareness among participants.

The Plogathon, held in conjunction with the Day of Action (DOA) to encourage volunteerism, saw participants jogging while picking up litter.

The collected trash was weighed and properly disposed of at the end of the programme.

The event was organised by the school and its girl guides team. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
