Myanmar earns US$342mil from fish exports in 10 months

YANGON: Myanmar earned US$342 million from fish exports in the past 10 months of the current fiscal year 2024-2025, which began April last year, the state-run Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Wednesday (Feb 26).

During this period, the country exported over 320,000 tons of fish, including over 146,400 tons through maritime trade and over 173,700 tons via land borders, the report said, citing the Fisheries Department.
