In a statement, the event’s co-organisers, the Roscongress Foundation and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), announced that the two-day forum will coincide with the 13th meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, and Technical Cooperation, beginning on April 14.

The forum will cover a wide range of topics, including trade and exports, energy, mining, transport and logistics, digitalisation, advanced technologies, the agro-industrial complex, halal industries, creative sectors, tourism, and science and education.

It will also explore the growing dialogue between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Asean, the statement stated.

"We are also on the verge of signing an agreement on a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union and Indonesia,” Adviser to the Russian President, Anton Kobyakov.

He emphasised that 2025 will mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Indonesia.

He also noted that Russia’s support for Indonesia’s inclusion in the BRICS group underscores the deepening cooperation between the two countries.
