PEKERTI spreads Ramadan cheer to orphans in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Welfare Body of Police Wives and Families (PEKERTI) of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) recently spread joy to 61 orphans during an Iftar ceremony at Tarindak D’Seni, Bandar Seri Begawan.

Gracing the event as the guest of honour was Datin Sabrina Aziemah Abdullah Chong, Acting President of PEKERTI.

Also in attendance were Nurakmalia Lt. Kol (B) Awang Iskandar, Acting Chair of PEKERTI, along with the General Welfare Body’s Chair, Rokiah Joly @ Julai, who chaired the ceremony, as well as executive members of PEKERTI.

As part of the event, the guest of honour presented hampers to the orphans as a token of care and support.

The ceremony aimed to strengthen bonds of friendship and foster a sense of togetherness among PEKERTI members, the orphans, and their families during the holy month of Ramadan. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
