BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Malaysian High Commissioner-Designate to Brunei Darussalam Datuk Mohd Aini Atan and his wife, Datin Zaeidah Mohamed Esa hosted a Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at the Malaysian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam Saturday (April 5).
The hosting of Hari Raya open house marks the first such event by Datuk Mohd Aini and his wife in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration in Brunei, following his assumption of the posting from the previous Malaysian high commissioner late last year.
The event served as a platform for the high commissioner to strengthen ties and further enhance the relationship between the two countries.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Major General (Rtd) Datuk Paduka Seri Awang Halbi Mohd Yussof, Minister of Foreign Affairs II Datuk Seri Setia Awang Erywan Mohd Yusof, Minister of Development Datuk Seri Setia Awang Muhammad Juanda Abdul Rashid, Minister of Transport and Info-communication Pengiran Datuk Seri Setia Shamhary Datuk Paduka Mustapha and Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Datuk Seri Setia Nazmi Mohammad were present.
