MANILA: Heart Evangelista has solidified her partnership with GMA Network and welcomed “another sparkling year,” as she renewed her contract with its talent management arm, Sparkle GMA Artist Centre.

The actress-fashion influencer’s renewal of contract was held at an event on Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Glimpses from the ceremony attended by GMA Network executives Annette Gozon-Valdes, Joy Marcelo, Vic del Rosario, and Evangelista manager, Gigi S. Lara, were shared by the actress and the talent management company through their respective Instagram pages.

“To my Sparkle and GMA family, I’m just so blessed because what you see on television, on Instagram is so different from all the hard work, extra work, sleepless nights that we all spend on one artist—and they handle so many artists. But they never made me feel that I was just one of them,” Evangelista said.

“They really did give me a second chance in life. It’s really a story to be told one day,” she continued. “I am just completely honoured and grateful.”

“And just like that… another sparkling year begins!” she exclaimed. “I never take for granted the opportunities, people, and the love that allow me to keep doing what I love. So incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so much love and exciting things to look forward to!”

During the event, Evangelista also confirmed that she will be reuniting with her former love team partner John Prats for a project whose details have yet to be announced.

The former real-life partners’ love team was formed in the youth-oriented series “G-mik.” The actors recently reunited for an episode of Evangelista’s GMA reality show “Heart World” season 2. They also starred in the music video for TJ Monterde’s song “Teka Lang.”
