Trading Ideas : Wah Seong, Datasonic, TRC Synergy

KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Wah Seong, Datasonic, TRC Synergy as among the stocks which could see trading interest on Monday following the fresh corporate news.

Wah Seong has secured a contract valued at about USD39.5 mil (RM167.24 mil) from Statoil ASA Norway for the entire coating work of the Johan Sverdup Export Pipeline Project (JoSEPP).

Datasonic has bagged a RM12.9 mil contract for the installation of closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras on Phase 4 of Penang Island.

TRC was appointed by Putrajaya Corp as the developer of a project comprising 500 residential units and 316 residential entities, besides 20 commercial properties, which will involve a gross development cost of RM292.74 mil, according to JF Apex.

Wall Street stocks gained last Friday following a positive US payrolls report, indicating that the US economic recovery is on track.

“Following US bullish performance on Friday, the KLCI could stage a rebound today. The benchmark index needs to breach the 1,700 points to overturn the bearish trend,”  JF Apex Research said.
