PETALING JAYA: Petra Perdana Bhd expects “marked improvement” in its bottom line in the current financial year backed by offshore marine services, said executive chairman and chief executive officer Tengku Datuk Ibrahim Petra.

“The current vessel utilisation rate has risen over the past one year and, given the rising crude oil prices, contracts for offshore marine support are also getting shorter in anticipation of higher charter rates when existing contracts expire, thus increasing profitability of the group,” he told StarBiz in an e-mail reply.
