PETALING JAYA: Panasonic Malaysia Sdn Bhd will terminate operations at its Malacca factory due to a drop in market demand and as part of efforts to increase its manufacturing efficiency.
As a result of the factory closure, 490 employees would be retrenched, Panasonic said in a statement yesterday.
