Chiyoda gets Bintulu plant project


KUCHING: Tokuyama Corp, which will invest more than RM2bil in a polycrystalline silicon plant in Samalaju Industrial Park in Bintulu, has awarded the project’s engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to Chiyoda Corp.

Chiyoda Sarawak Sdn Bhd business manager Fujiyo Shi said core construction work for the plant would begin in February next year for completion in two years. “We are now selecting the sub-contractors for the project,” he said in Bintulu.
