Nestle Malaysia: Exports to remain strong contributor

PETALING JAYA: Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd sees its export business remaining a strong contributor to its overall growth and profit despite analysts' prediction of a less favourable impact resulting from Nestle SA's recent US$100mil investment in Indonesia.

Nestle SA wil reportedly invest US$100mil in a new factory in Indonesia to make products such as Milo beverages and Cerelac infant cereals as part of a plan to tap growing demand from Indonesian consumers.
