Successful morphing of MFM

PETALING JAYA: It was indeed a huge loss for the flour industry when founder of Malayan Flour Mills (MFM) Bhd Teh Liang Teik passed away on Monday leaving behind 4 sons, 5 daughters and 23 grandchildren.

While MFM's first flour mill in Lumut, Perak was started by Hong Kong industrialist and banker, Datuk David Sung, it wasn't until Teh acquired a controlling interest from the Sung family, that MFM's expansion and diversification began.
