PETALING JAYA: UMW Holdings Bhd
subsidiary Synergistic Generation Sdn Bhd (SGSB) has secured a contract worth US$29.7mil (RM94.74mil) from Petronas Carigali Iraq Holding BV (PCIHBV) to supply material and install the Garraf Power Plant phase 1 onshore Iraq.
The group told Bursa Malaysia yesterday that PCIHBV was engaged in the development of the Garraf Contract Area under a development and production service contract between South Oil Co, Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, Japan Petroleum Exploration Co Ltd and North Oil Co.
