Vincent Tan to retire from Berjaya Corp


KUALA LUMPUR: Berjaya Corporation Bhd (B-Corp) announced today that its founder and controlliong shareholder, Tan Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun, has decided to retire from an active corporate role in (B-Corp), the flagship of the Berjaya Group of Companies.

Consequently, Tan has also relinqusihed his position as Chairman of B-Corp after having earlier handed over the reins of Chief Executive Officer to his eldest son, Datuk Robin Tan Yeong Ching, in January last year.
