Three Bumi Armada shareholders sell RM1.15bil worth of shares


PETALING JAYA: A total of 293 million Bumi Armada Bhd shares valued RM1.15bil were sold in an off-market deal by shareholders Ombak Damai Sdn Bhd, Wijaya Sinar Sdn Bhd and Wijaya Baiduri Sdn Bhd.

The company told Bursa Malaysia that the three companies had sold their stakes in a book-building exercise conducted by CIMB Investment Bank Bhd, in response to reports that major shareholder Ananda Krishnan and his bumiputra partners would place out roughly 15% of their equity.
