KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's blue chips held on to most of their gains at midday on Wednesday, in line with the key regional markets as Asia's powerhouse China expects its economy to grow at a faster pace next year.
At midday, the FBM KLCI was up 4.41 points to 1,612.02. Turnover was 395.17 million shares valued at RM376.39mil. There were 271 gainers, 217 losers and 315 counters unchanged.
