Tomei gets rights from De Beers


KUALA LUMPUR: Tomei Consolidated Bhd has obtained the rights to sell De Beers diamond jewellery and luxury products in Malaysia for a period of seven years with an extension option of seven years.

It told Bursa Malaysia in a filing that its wholly owned unit, De Beers Diamond Jewellers Sdn Bhd, had yesterday secured the franchise rights from De Beers Diamond Jewellers Ltd, giving it the exclusive rights to retail the latter’s goods in one store under the brand “De Beers”.
