ITALIAN car component maker Magneti Marelli recently inaugurated a new plant in Batu Kawan, Penang.

The plant replaces the company’s facilities in Bayan Lepas and will boost production from 1.7 million lighting units, including front and rear lights, to 2.2 million, with the potential to increase capacity to 2.9 million.
