Top Glove shares down on low net profit

PETALING JAYA: Top Glove Corp Bhd’s lower-than-expected second-quarter financial performance pushed its shares down as much as 6% yesterday – its steepest fall in a day in the past six months.

The glove manufacturer was the fifth top loser of the day. It fell to as low as RM4.84, before closing down 19 sen at RM5.09 with 21.3 million shares traded.
