Gamuda sends feelers, willing to sell assets for 'right price'

PETALING JAYA: Gamuda Bhd, which owns a 40% stake in Syarikat Pengeluar Air Sungai Selangor Sdn Bhd (Splash), has informed the Government that it is willing to sell its water assets in Selangor should it be paid “the right price”.

Sources said the company, in an effort to break the deadlock in consolidating the water assets in the state, had sent word to the Government that it would be agreeable to an “adjusted price offer” and did not want to go into a lengthy legal battle on the matter.
