The giants will collide

The game for eyeballs just got a lot more interesting with Telekom Malaysia Bhd’s (TM) bid for Packet One Networks (M) Sdn Bhd (P1).

And that deal will see it not only compete against the mobile phone operators, which are increasingly focused on data services, but also the TV space against the established incumbents such as Media Prima Bhd and Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd.
