KUALA LUMPUR: Sona Petroleum Bhd has bought a 40% stake in the Thai unit of UK-listed Salamander Energy Plc, confirming a StarBiz report on Monday.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Sona said it unit Sona Exploration and Production (Thailand) Ltd had inked a sale and purchase agreement with Salander Energy (Bualang Holdings) Ltd and Salamander for the proposed transaction.
