Malaysia Airlines in focus on restructuring hopes


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) was in focus, with the shares rising to a high of 23 sen in very active trade on Tuesday, as market speculated it would present its restructuring plan this week.

At 5pm, the FBM KLCI was up 2.72 points to 1,871.36. Turnover was 2.56 billion shares valued at RM2.07bil. There were 471 gainers, 383 losers and 320 counters unchanged.
