Canadian state sure of Petronas US$11b LNG project


VANCOUVER: British Columbia's leader is "very confident" that Petroliam Nasional Bhd will move ahead with a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal in the Canadian province, despite threats from the company that it could pull out of the roughly US$11bil project.

A spokesman for Petronas was not immediately available for comment.
