Govt revises gas price for non-power sector

PETALING JAYA: The Government has revised the price of natural gas tariff for the non-power sector in Peninsular Malaysia, a move that will see industries paying, on average, an increase of 45 sen per million metric British thermal unit (MMBtu) for the fuel.

The rate hike will, among others, impact cement manufacturers, steel producers and glove makers.
