PETALING JAYA: Datuk Mazlin Junid, formerly the executive vice-chairman of Daya Materials Bhd, has resigned from his position as executive director in special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Reach Energy Bhd as he is not not a member of the management team, Reach Energy told Bursa Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa, Reach said its board of directors understood that as an executive director, even on a part-time basis, Mazlin might be construed as a member of the management team.
