Eversendai subsidiary bags RM44m Dubai contract

KUALA LUMPUR: Eversendai Corporation Bhd’s subsidiary has secured a RM44mil contract in Dubai to construct the structural steel works for the Nas Indoor Futsal and Volleyball Arena.

The engineering and construction services company said on Monday the new arena would have a gross capacity of 5,000 seats, which will be used to host international tournaments.

Eversendai said its track record and technical expertise in the industry were critical in securing this contract.

Its executive chairman and group managing director Tan Sri AK Nathan said the contract showed the company remained a strong player in the industry.
