Mega merger off


PETALING JAYA: The three banks involved in the proposed mega merger – CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, RHB Capital Bhd and Malaysia Building Society Bhd (MBSB) – are keeping mum over reports that the deal is off.

But officials close to the matter said that a decision had been made to call off the merger and that an announcement would be made today.
