BRT-Sunway Line nears completion

PETALING JAYA: The BRT-Sunway Line, the country’s first 5.4km bus rapid transit (BRT) public transport network, is near completion and is expected to be operational by early June this year, according to Prasarana Malaysia Bhd group chairman Tan Sri Ismail Adam.

The line costs RM634mil and is 70% funded by Prasarana, 15% by Sunway Bhd and 15% by the Government’s public-private partnership (PPP) facilitation fund called UKAS.
