Ikea to open in Cheras by year-end


KUALA LUMPUR: Ikano Pte Ltd, the operator of IKEA stores in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia, is expected to open its second outlet in Cheras by year-end as part of an overall expansion plan across Southeast Asia. 

Located at Jalan Cochrane, the upcoming Swedish-based store will be its biggest yet in Malaysia, with an overall store size that is 20% larger than IKEA Damansara, IKEA Malaysia said in a statement.
