Bursa queries bamboo maker Kanger over sharp fall in price


KUALA LUMPUR:  Bursa Malaysia Securities has queried Kanger International Bhd over the recent fall in in the share price accompanied by the high trading volume.

The regulator said on Tuesday investors should take note of the company’s reply to the unusual market activity which would be posted on Bursa Malaysia’s website.

At 9.44am, Kanger was down one sen to 20.5 sen. There were15 million shares done at prices ranging from 20.5 sen to 22 sen.

Kanger’s subsidiaries in China are involved in manufacturing integrated bamboo products and related products. The group’s two major product lines are horizontal & vertical bamboo and strand woven bamboo products.
