KUALA LUMPUR: Salcon Bhd
’s unit, Salcon Engineering Bhd, has bagged a contract from Syarikat Air Terengganu Sdn Bhd (SATU) worth RM5.406mil for the rehabilitation, operation and maintenance management of a distribution system in Bukit Kecil, Kuala Terengganu.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Salcon said the duration of the works was two years while the project completion date would be Dec 26, 2017.
“The project is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of the Salcon Group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2016 and 2017,” it added. - Bernama
Salcon shares gained half a sen to close at 61 sen on Wednesday.
