KUALA LUMPUR: Glove makers came under selling pressure as investors took profit in early Thursday trade but oil and gas stocks stirred to life as crude oil prices advanced above the key US$30 a barrel.
The ringgit firmed up against the US dollar by 0.22% to 4.2470 in early trade from the 4.2565 the previous day. Year-to-date, the ringgit was up 1.09% to the US$.
